Emily Isbell
Mission Strategist
Emily is a first generation American who enjoys eating ethnic foods and one on one time with people. Emily has a BS in Geology from UT Austin, and is currently working on a MATM from Northern Seminary. Her spiritual gifts are prophecy and leadership and she loves to pray, think, read, write, and strategize. She is always looking for connections between her life, her community, Scripture, the books she reads, and the things people say and do. Emily has a passion for spiritual restoration and development, and a God-given desire for authentic community that portrays the creativity of God. Emily serves BWP by overseeing finances, some community partnerships, cultivating relationships, and caring for people. She is wife to a smart and talented husband Scott, and mother of two young men Brandon and Elijah and fur baby Rita.
Eric Sorrell
Mission Facilitator
Eric has lived in the Baltimore area since 2008, but grew up in Guatemala where his parents served as missionaries. He loves, among other things, really good coffee, really corny jokes and the Baltimore Orioles. Together with his lovely wife, Jessica, they have two sons, William Livingstone and Amos James, and one child in heaven. Currently, Eric has a Masters of Divinity from the Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary. Eric has followed God’s call to join the vocational ministry team with the Broken Wall project where he serves as the Mission Facilitator. He coordinates with our partner churches and local missionaries, to enable them to engage in our various ministries. He heads a team of Broken Wall leaders in the Shoulder to Shoulder ministry, which seeks to share resources to meet the spiritual and physical needs of neighbors. He leads a discipleship group, seeking to help young people grow in a life of faith. And he is launching an outdoor ministry, Fernway Outdoors, that seeks to help young people grow through outdoor adventures.
